Full Range Fuzz for the Modern Musician
The RAIL is a full range fuzz machine with something for everyone, even those who don’t usually gravitate towards fuzz boxes! RAIL, like all the other CORE series pedals, boasts a simple but powerful set of controls that allow for a vast range of fuzz and distortion tones.

The RAIL features three knobs; Level, Lows & Highs. An eight position rotary switch sets the Gain and provides a surprising amount of tone shaping while still being simple and intuitive to use. The circuit takes a unique approach to generating fuzz that doesn’t rely on clipping diodes or finicky vintage transistors. Instead, the pedal is literally boosting the signal with extreme levels of gain into the voltage rails; hence the name “RAIL”. This effect is made even more fun by the use of dual high voltage power rails, which can scale from +/-6v to +/-18v, with the internal supply mirroring whatever input voltage you apply via the external power supply.

The core gain engine originally started years ago as a malfunctioning PettyDrive V1, was honed for the fuzz side of the FUZE and now has been further refined and matured into one of our favorite high gain pedals of all time, the RAIL!
